Why is there a banner on my bin page?

There are 4 types of banners that BinSentry uses which may be added to your bin page.

Service will proactively place a banner if they notice an issue with your sensor. Sometimes it is to monitor the sensor to make sure everything is working as it should and if required, a service technician will be booked. 

1. The "info" banner will show in blue and will provide basic information.

2. The "success" banner will show in green and let you know that an issue or task has been successfully resolved.

3. The "warning" banner will show in yellow. This banner will be used to indicate service is required or that the sensor will undergo algorithm software training.

4. The fourth banner is "critical" This banner will show in red and will indicate a more severe issue.

Banners will be removed by BinSentry when no longer required.
