A side discharge bin may not be able to show a full empty. This is due to the sensor position in relation to the hopper.
- The sensor is unable to read directly to the bottom because it is angled. When taking a reading from the top of the bin, the sensor may only sense as far as the bottom angled side wall.
- A small amount of feed may still show even though the bin is completely empty.
- This is important to take into consideration when placing orders as the bin may run out sooner then expected or a new order required to fill the bin may be slightly less.
